Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information I collect, why I use it and the choices you have.

Who is responsible for your information?

Jed Lesser is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in connection with the services offered.

You can contact me at info@lesser.training.

Information I may collect

Depending on how you use the website or contact me, I may collect:

  • Your name and contact details, such as your email address and phone number.
  • Your company, organisation or school name.
  • Information about the service you are interested in, team size and the content of your message.
  • Booking details submitted through the GoReminders booking calendar.
  • Basic technical information produced when the website is accessed, such as an IP address, browser type and security logs held by the website host.

Please do not include detailed medical or health information in a general enquiry form. If health information is needed to deliver a service safely, I will request it separately and explain how it will be used.

How and why I use your information

I use personal information to:

  • Reply to enquiries and discuss the services you have asked about.
  • Arrange and manage appointments, sessions and reminders.
  • Provide services and communicate with clients and organisations.
  • Maintain business, payment and administrative records.
  • Keep the website and enquiry forms secure and prevent misuse.
  • Comply with legal, tax, insurance and regulatory obligations.

The lawful bases I rely on are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and legitimate interests in running and protecting the business. I will only use consent where it is specifically requested, such as for optional marketing.

Who may receive your information?

I do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by trusted service providers that help operate the website and manage bookings, including:

  • Netlify, which hosts the website and processes submissions made through the workplace and school enquiry forms.
  • GoReminders, which provides the embedded appointment booking calendar and reminder service. Its own Privacy Policy also applies when you use that service.
  • Email, IT, professional or administrative providers where this is necessary to run the business.

I may also disclose information when required by law, or to professional advisers and insurers where reasonably necessary.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, I take reasonable steps to use providers that offer appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for personal information.

How long I keep information

General enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless there is a clear reason to keep them for longer. Booking, client and financial records may be retained for longer where needed to provide services, deal with complaints, meet insurance requirements or comply with legal and tax obligations.

Information is deleted or securely disposed of when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and the booking calendar

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The embedded GoReminders booking calendar is third-party content and may use cookies or similar technologies when it loads. You can read more in the GoReminders Privacy Policy or open the booking page directly in a separate tab.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of use, objection to processing or transfer of information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email info@lesser.training. I may need to confirm your identity before responding.

How to complain

Please contact me first so I can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for guidance.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when the website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its update date.
